When using the search pages of the online Register you can click on the
buttons for more information at any time.
Please note that:
-
The online Register is available in both official languages; however, each search
page functions in its own language: use English terms in the English search pages, French terms in the French
search pages.
-
Some search fields use drop-down lists, while others require a typed request. These
do not require the complete word or phrase to be used.
For example, to search for an organization with “Canada” in its name, you could type “can”,
and the results would show all occurrences containing the word “Canada”, plus “Canadian”
and any other word containing “can”.
-
Obviously, the more specific your search criteria are, the more limited your search
results will be.
-
The search functions are not case-sensitive, and accents are not required. However,
spelling must be correct.
