Continuing to expand the frontiers of thought and imagination with eloquence and mastery, Moshe Safdie is one of Canada's most celebrated architects. The National Gallery of Canada, the Quebec Museum of Civilization, Vancouver's Library Square and Toronto's Lester B. Pearson International Airport take their place in the constellation of his work, alongside major cultural and educational commissions that can be found around the world. Clearly liberated from the yoke of tradition, he synchronizes beauty with form and function to create unique and magical places that enrich both their environment and the lives of humankind.

Having received international recognition for his revolutionary concept for Habitat 67, he is best known for his work in environmental design dedicated to improving the quality of life in urban centres around the world.
