| Born in Minnesota of Canadian parents, he became a member of the Saskatchewan Legislature and a provincial cabinet minister. Having served as Judge of the Court of Appeal, he was Chief Justice of Saskatchewan from 1962 until retirement in 1981. Besides his official duties, he has been active in provincial and community affairs. For outstanding service to his province and the nation. |
