| Throughout his long career in the House of Commons, most notably as a Minister of the Crown responsible for several portfolios, he earned the respect of fellow Parliamentarians, his constituents and world leaders. In addition, this accomplished businessman raises funds for the University of Alberta and he established a foundation which provides scholarships for young Canadians. Over the years, he has been an important influence on the modern history of our country. |
