| During the last two decades, she has guided the transformation of Winnipeg's St. Amant Centre from a tuberculosis facility to a much larger, successful multi-disciplinary diagnostic and treatment centre for severely mentally and physically disabled children. Her committment to the mentally disabled has taken many of them out of institutions and into Manitoba's first children's group homes and apartments. |
