Governor General to present Public Service Outstanding Achievement Awards

OTTAWA—Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, joined by the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, will host the Public Service Outstanding Achievement Awards ceremony at Rideau Hall on Friday, January 23, 2009, at 4 p.m.
Together, they will present the Outstanding Achievement Award to three senior executives of the Public Service of Canada who have distinguished themselves by a sustained commitment to excellence.
The Outstanding Achievement Award is administered by the Canada Public Service Agency.
The list of the award winners and their citations will be available at the ceremony.
