Presentation of Credentials at Rideau Hall

OTTAWA—Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, will receive the credentials of four new ambassadors, on Friday, October 2, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., in the Ballroom, at Rideau Hall.

Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Her Excellency Else Berit Eikeland
Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Norway

His Excellency Matthias Brinkmann
Ambassador-designate of the Delegation of the European Commission

His Excellency David Cary Jacobson
Ambassador-designate of the United States of America

Members of the media wishing to cover the ceremony are asked to confirm their attendance in advance with the Rideau Hall Press Office and must arrive at the Princess Anne Entrance no later than 9:30 a.m.
