Dorothy Grandmaitre

Acting Director General, Corporate Services

A native of Ottawa, Mrs. Grandmaitre studied in Industrial Relations at the University of Ottawa, completed an intensive Coaching for Excellence Program as well as several Executive Development Programs all of which support her as a Human Resources specialist. Over the course of her career, she worked for various institutions including the Public Service Commission, Transport Canada, the House of Commons and, the Senate. She joined the Office of the Secretary to the Governor General in December 2004 as Chief Human Resources and currently holds the position of Director General Corporate Services.
