| For over ten years, this resident of Happy Valley has devoted herself to the preservation, understanding and documentation of the rich cultural history of Labrador. She has achieved a great deal through the editorship of the magazine "Them Days" which she has turned into an archive of regional significance to scholars, genealogists and researchers from many disciplines, and through appearances on local, regional and national radio and television, published articles, conferences, videotapes, exhibitions and participation as a member or consultant with many organizations. |
