| War hero, statesman, humanitarian and farmer, he has devoted a lifetime to serving his country. A Member of Parliament for twenty-five years, he held various portfolios, and was Premier of Prince Edward Island for two years. Since his retirement, he has served as provincial Commissioner to Expo `86 and remains active today operating the family farm. |
